Tree Sliders - confused

whata waste of 39 posts :(.

rocks are (usually) under a vehicle so Rock sliders (to slide over rocks) need to be underneath the vehicle.
trees are (usually) not under a car but to the side, so tree sliders need to be on the side. It doesnt matter high high up the side, but most peeps have combined sliders - tre & rock sliders) and it is cheaper to manufacture them together, hence both are fitted at sill level.

I was kidding  I dont think my welding will be good enough to make something like that

If yer wants I can knock up the base section with jacking tubes and end caps then drop it off with ya :p you can weld on your own steps/tree sliders

If not the guy that owns rock-sliders.co.uk is in leeds I think, the pic I posted was of his

Thank you :D

Pictures definitely required.

The question is - Do you spread out to fill the skirts or are the skirts so skimpy that they restrict movement?

:D
