hi
has anybody done the bearing on the rear output shaft on the transfer-box is there an easy way of doing it without taken the box out

Yes dr
Drain oil
remove output nut,
Remove speedo
Remove ring of bolts round flange
Remove output shaft
Remove circlip
Remove bearing and oil seal with drift
Clean flange and rebuild

it all comes apart easy nothing will fall out from inside

yesterday i got time to try and do the bearing so took the prop off and found the 30mm lock nut loose so that was the reason for the up and down play in the shaft
