my disco failed the mot today on worn bushes on the rear trailing arms ( the big round ones that are towards the front of the car ) . can anyone give me any tips on how to do them and are they easy ish to do thanks

They're easy to do, provided the bolts & nuts come undone and come out.
Give them a good wire brushing and soaking with GT85 first.
Undo the body end first, then the axle end, the arm will then just pull out.
Replace bushes with new ones and re-fit.
Are the axle end bushes OK? If they need replacing, it's a bit trickier getting the old ones out.

Paddocks do a kit of parts - bushes and bolts.

the axle end ones are fine so it sounds easy enough so ill have ago at the weekend , thanks for the quick reply

When you remove the bolts the axle will want to move backwards, make sure you chock both rear wheels.
