Hi All,
Apologies if this is covered somewhere, but a search did not show anything useful.
Defender TD5 90 (2002). Changed indicators to LED as having problems with log ones. Had to fit a new solid state relay (found a good one from Paddocks where you can manually adjust the indocator interval). All fitted and working fine.
Except, now the little green trailer tell-tale light is permanently on. Can live with this, but have an annoying tendency to want to try and get things "just so" - so would like to sort it out if I can.
I assume that it's due it resistance change in the circuit. But also presume that I do not fix it by increasing resistance load ( presumably this is what connecting a trailer does - as a couple of references to LED trailer lights not triggering the circuit in the first place)?
So, at a loss. Can cope with basic electrics but by no means technically proficient. Any advice welcomed.
Thanks,
Phil
