Toylander type build plans?

Morning everyone. I'm pondering my next project and was thinking maybe having a punt at a toylander type affair. Is there anywhere you can download the plans from that you good folks are aware of?
I looked at the official stuff and it's a tad on the pricey side (yes I am a tight arse I know).

Anyone else built one?

I built one for the kids well the for runner to the landrover, a dare i say it j**p for the kids with out any plans just some photos of full size ones
I used a complete mobility scooter as a doner stripped it down to chassis changed the wheels lengthened the chassis to get correct wheel base then built a body by hand using the trial and error method as too what looked right, the body is 9mm ply with aluminium dashed over it then altered the wiring as required .
I to looked for toylander plans and hey are hard to get unless new, Richard who owes toylander has seen mine and was well impressed.
I think the total cost was about £500 any more info just ask.

How hard was it to convert the old scooter over?

Min, here's mine, which is nearly done now. TBH it would have been totally done by now had I built it to plan, but I got a bit obsessed about details, and added lots of additional routing details, door handles/hinges, corrected bulkhead, opening bulkhead vents, proper lights, corrected windscreen, transmission tunnel with a functioning gear lever, etc etc etc.

TBH although I've also been a tight arse on mine, and used a donor scooter, fabricated some of the steelwork and sourced a lot of parts elsewhere, I don't begrudge spending the £40 on the plans. Someone has gone to the effort of designing the thing and making a business out of it. My view...either design your own from scratch, or do the decent thing and pay for the plans and then see how you can recoup the £40 with a bit of ingenuity on the build. Toylander could very easily only sell complete shells or complete vehicles, so I think fair's fair here and respect the fact that they do offer the plans to DIY builders.

Using a mobility scooter made the hole job easier as you have the motor and chassis and all the electronics ready done, it was lengthened by cutting and shutting , the steering had to be moved forward a bit and battery cables extended so they could go under the bonnet
its one of those jobs you have to make it up as you go along, one of the hardest parts was getting all the scale bits and bobs and every bit made was a one off and took time eg half a day to make two brackets for the canvas frame.
I would say the shape of a landy is probably easier.

Guys these are absolutely superb! The attention to detail is astounding!!
I will probably and up buying the plans if I go for a Landy but having seen these pictures and a few more on teh internet I am pondering building something different.,,maybe a truck?
Who knows I will have a ponder over the next few days
