My concern is that the Trailer may just be to long even with stabalizers. My Defe has a beefed up suspension and a new 4.6l engine all made with Towing in mind but I'm having second thaughts about purchasing this trailer. I plan on making a 3 month excursion this fall to Alaska leaving from VA to do some serious back country camping off the grid so this trailer would be great for extra fuel/Generator and such. I'm just concerned about the overall length which is = 30 ft I believe. I don't want a popup so pls don't suggest one. My towing experiance has all been done with a 3500HD so I really am not sure on this. Your thoughts.

I think you need to try an American site fella. There going to have more experience with that sort of thing.

I pulled a bigger trailer(caravan) than that in OZ with both my 130 DCHCPU( 300tdi) and 110 (3.9i V8) , both without a stabilizer ( ie equalizer hitch) HTSH
