towbar electrics for caravan

I have deffinatly got a 1999 discovery 2 v8 and I deffinatly wired a grey socket into the loom by plugging it in.There are 2 different types pre99 and after 99 pre99caravans use more relays as they are not fitted into the caravan

I've just wired the pikey mobile socket to the defender. and unless their is a 4.0mm wire going to this plug that's ignition (prefferably alternator switched) then you will need to run one in for the 12v charger for the pikey mobiles onboard battery & fridge. It will also need a double relay switched from the w connector on the alternator.
