So my tratter's modified anyway (300tdi and the matched gearstick) so I shouldn't be feeling like I'm about to shorten the legs of an original Tudor banqueting table ... but I am. Should I really be putting a spankingly marvellous rebuilt disco axle and different type of brakes on my tratter cos the casing of my drum axle has a rust hole and leak? I don't mind from the cost perspective and if it's better, then I'll proceed, but how far is a pimp too far on a traditional def?
