Hi
New here but jumping straight in with this: Has anyone ever done a conversion from pick up to tipper? Just wondering how feasible this would be and if anyone's ever done it/seen it done before...?
Cheers
Mick
This is a Discovery conversion I saw this year.
Had the cab been shorter it could have extended the tipper bed by another foot I think.
The Australians have a utility conversion they apply to anything with a separate chassis and they like to stretch them too.
Are either of those Disco conversions tipper backs then? or just static beds?
Cheers
Thinking maybe a tipping trailer would make a good 'donor'
I keep coming back to this and was trying to price up all the bits new Vs second hand and it works out to be a heck of a lot of wedge when you price up the hydraulicsMeasure up an ifor Williams tipper trailer. See how the chassis is done.
But as stated this will make your motor higher.
This will also put a lot of weight over the back & limit the carrying capacity.
Why do you want a tipper rear?
Have you got a thread on your trayback mate? Or more pics
