Sweet!!

Stu I bet driving Lees 90 felt huge to drive about vs the series 1!

I not a member of CVLRC yet...... But 90 needs a new rear propshaft, 300 tdi is longer oops!! front diff and ends swap roof rack off and odds n soda will be at Brickhill taking part in December.

No the hanger assembly is new just like the s11 back box. However I also need to bend the pipe a bit to get it away from the wheel so the 7.50s ultimatly can go on.

Where the hanger fit on the tailpipe required a heath robinson extension bracket from the chassis to fit.

probably come out by 6cm and drop by 4cm. the photos are of where the top of the rubber is after I have forced the tailpipe back.

Originally it was a piece of bent steel which has finally fatigued/rusted away at the fold.

Tinker Time :pop2:

Thought I would crack on with the fuel tank today, had to figure out how to hold the tank while figuring out the brackets.

Found out that the front bracket was snagging on the tank, so I cut it off :cool2:

Says spray on with airless sprayer, but goes on well with a brush

So tank in, belly plate on, now to figure out what I have got to make something with. Any Ideas welcome

Pondering over that I decided to do the oil on the gearbox and transfer box and change the breathers so I can bolt the floor back down

That done I made the clutch pipe up before I filled the engine bay with all of the bits.

Just need to fix it to the bulkhead, slow but sure progress.

Helping Killajoules get his 88" home tomorrow then hopefully back on the Rangy :crazy_driver:

Between recovering Killajoules's latest member of the family (SWAMBO's 88) we found some time, after lunch to try and put the ancillary bit's onto the V8.

Trying to fit parts from two engines isn't working. And there will only be one alternator but which we don't know

After some head scratching we called it a day as we had to decapitate the 88 and put it away

Went to collect the winnings from eBay, 2 front wings 2 front doors a rear door and set of gas struts, didn't want the change from my tenner :) get the other door and rear wings if the buyer is a no show.

Bit more head scratching and decided to strip the remaining engine ancillaries off the V8 from the se. Just need a new power steering hose made up now and that's another job ticked off the list. :p
