timing chain diesel

goosed well and truly, picture of camshaft sprocket and chain also the camshaft jammed solid, so looks like I'm in the market for a good running 2.25 diesel if anyone has plans to take one out for 200tdi swop etc please let me know, I'm in northumberland but willing to travel for a sweet engine, cheers for all your help[/ATTACH]

not sweet but i have a running one i have just removed. it ran fine, apart from uphills (it was in a 110)

it's a 3 bearing, needs at least a new head gasket (i have a bearmach decoke kit you can have) and has a sticky injector when cold. probably could do with a new chain too. oh and rear crank seal needs replaced as it covered me clutch in oil... speaking of which you can have that as well if you clean it up.

it's got a new water pump, semi refurbed inj pump, parallel glows think i just bought a new spill pipe for it too.

Hmm. I wonder what made that lot let go ? All the best in sorting out another engine.

2.25 diesel wanted for series land rover, must be in good order prefer to see running anyone about to do an upgrade/200tdi conversion with a good engine could you please let me know

Fair enough, good luck with the search.. most seem to need a bit of tlc

If you get stuck i'll probably still have it for a few weeks before it's stripped/scrapped. Though I am quite tempted to strip and rebuild for fun
