Don't bother with the manufacturer just get one that comes in a Land Rover Genuine Parts bag.

I've found this one do you think its a pair?
I may as well do both I suppose as its only another 14/15 bolts and the bolt kit is all of them.
I going to take the spark-plug and disconnect the injector on that cylinder do you think that would be best? Just thinking it limets the damage, the reason I thought of disconnecting the injector is because of it spitting petrol out and there been a build up. What do you lot think, its runs now O.K. it is down a little on power I think or maybe I'm not revving it as hard due to the noise and making it worse,

The old part number for this gasket was ERR4627 but I'm sure that's been superseceded now.

Yer its has with ERR7217 then changed to LVB500030.
I was wondering if anybody knows if I need to order 1 because its packaged as a pair or if I need to order 2?
I would ask them but there closed

it looks like just the one to me, do you not want the engine gasket set? you will at also need the valley gasket at least- once its been stripped to get to the head and that has it all the gaskets you could need and is not much more money.

I've looked at that but it don't come with a genuine head-gasket, also I don't need the water-pump gasket or the thermostat one because there's no need to remove them.
Plus there is two of them this oneand this, which one would be mine its a 95 discovery V8i with the serpentine belt.

I've worked it out, the cheaper one comes with the head-gasket for the earlier engine with the extra row of head-bolts.
Mine is a 3.9

for referemce, are you suppsed to fit the later gasket and leave out the extra head bolts when rebuilding an early engine?

Well I've done the head-gasket,now I can hear the lifter again. AARRRGGGG
Also after a lot of web searching it seams after having a head skimmed, you need to make sure there isn't a little burr around the edge where the valves are. Apparently the burr burns to one point and creates a piece of molten metal, that sits between the head and liner against the gasket. Which slowly burns it away, if you understand what I mean.
Anyway I'll do the lifters once the weather has warmed up.
