Freelander 1 this is normal ?

today when i cleaning my cooler tank i found this hose coming like flat
this is normal or something happens?

It looks like one of the pipes going to the cooler on the IRD [transfer box]. I looks like it is made of a different material than the one beside it. I think you should replace it with a Land Rover part.

my IRD cancelled there is no 4x4 shaft

Mine has been flat since buying my TD4, over 4 years ago. I think it is normal.

but look like there is no liquid or air in side this hose
and this hose i think going to cooler for steering

Its a power steering hydraulic hose. All left hand drive Freelanders have the same flat spot, I dont know if UK ones are the same.
Its normal, dont worry.

The hose is made flat. When you buy a new one, it is already flat. I think it's that way to absorb hydraulic noise from the system.
