Just in from filling the P38 up £108

That was the normal stuff not the dear stuff!! At the cheapest garage around aswell £1.14 a litre.

For that sort of cash me and the misses could see a top West End show, have a nice meal in Chinatown and have enough left for a few jars at the local on the way home.

Where's it all going to end. The Rangie in Autotrader at this rate

If you cant afford to run them - dont buy them.....this is why there are plenty of Rangie's in the scrap yard.....poor and lack of maintenance due to high costs equals bad Rangie , its alright though for those of us looking for spares

I couldn't agree more. But it wasn't that long ago it was in the mid 80p's. If I could get away with price hikes like that in my business I'd have the latest V8 Diesel Rangie sittin on the drive and not a 10 year old P38!!

Makes those 'Official' inflation figures look like the greatest work of fiction since Lord of the Rings.

True, but they never tell you about the ones that got away with it do they?? i would do it if i could, and i know of lots of places to get red derv, the only thing that's stops me fro doing it, is the fact i live at Heathrow Airport, and the ministry is all over the place here, otherwise i would and have no second thoughts about it, if you live near the cast, all boats run off red....so its not that hard to come by
