so what's the offence then?;)

The key word in all this is "humane", if your actions are deemed by the cats owners as inhumane, then they could report you to the RSPCA, they inturn might consider a prosecution under the animal welfare act, Its unlikely due to the fact that they are on your property, but in rare cases they may well try there luck in court to try and make an example of you!!!! :D

By the way cat lovers.........

I wouldn't dream of it really, I'm just curious as to the legal position.

I suppose it could also be classified as criminal damage to my neighbour's property?

Not unless you blew a hole in your neighbours fence!!!!! :D

But also consider the fact that they dont like givin licences to people who discharge firearms on there own property, well unless you have a house in the middle of nowhere that is !!!!;) :D

A simpler method might be to borrow some 'leccy fencing - cats really ferkin hate that :D

You still commited an offence, So yes, they ban you from driving in your absence, and yes, you can be prosecuted for drivinng while your banned!!!!!

Oh, and then theres the offence of not updating your driving licence with the DVLA!!!!!!! :D

DVLA won't let me update my licence Apparently you have to a UK address for the licence to be registered to I emailed em and told em I didn't have a uk address and they replied back saying you have to have an "address it's the law" or words to that effect. Does this mean homeless people and pikeys are automatically banned from driving. There must be a way round it but I can't figure it out. any ideas.

Well, if you're a Pikey then you're exempt from all laws. Everyone knows that! ;)

I never said I was a pikey. I just don't have a UK address at the Mo.
I was just wondering how the law works in relation to people who have no fixed abode. I mean how did all those crusty new age travellers manage in the 90's. travelling round in their converted buses and horse boxes and the like.
