have to be a diameter to fit the wheel arch..... 37"? maybe bigger?
Note for future, when body rebuilt. Not really, if you're cutting it then you can use as much of the belt and shoulder lugs as you like, could get away with 33"

They be the pressed rear quarter panels, could be recreated with the dimensions but I am going to set to it with my slitting disc and put a reliefs in and dolly it flat, going to overlap the repair section and plug weld it as well as seam weld it from the outside, I'm tempted to put a short length of 10X10X1.5mm angle on the panel on the diagonal to reduce the drumming, easy to do now whilst it is all apart, might be over kill now but I've no intention to do it all againi need some templates for the bit aft of the B pillar too some time. Might have to take it from the OS and mirror it, although there are some 2 axis bends which might be a bit complicated to fabricate.
wonder of someone is scrapping one?
ah! - an improved redesign coming upNever seen one with that particular piece of panel that wasn't rotten, it was such a common rot spot I'm surprised that someone like YRM or Friggits didn't make small pressings, probably be only a few tons needed to press that die into a piece of 1.5mm zintec, but then again I think it would be a rare panel to sell too as 3 doors died young usually or due to it's location it's a panel that could be made at home and considering where it is it's not a panel that is actually worth faffing around with.
