Damn ebay!!! The latest on my list of land rover purchases that I don't really need is an o/s wolf intake when I already have a safari snorkel.

What unnecessary purchases have you make for your land rover?
 
Unnecessary Land Rover purchases! There is no such thing. Everything I buy is needed now or in the future or as an option, or because I want one, or just in case, or.......
 
i bought a set of heavy duty "sticks" for a canvas top at the weekend.

I dont have a canvas top....

I also had a replacement salisbury half shaft for the near side.... I didnt realise of course and its me offside one that keep eating flanges.. DOH!!!!

I also bought a GSXR1000 at the same time mind.
 
I have a new interior ready to fit, even though there is nothing wrong with the one I already have in it !! :confused::confused::confused:

What's an o/s wolf intake look like, if it fits on top of the wing, that's the one I want. Got a link to the eBay item.

I bought a replacement n/s lower door hinge for the 90 last month and when it came remembered I really meant to buy a o/s

A wolf intake goes on the engine air intake. The one on top of the wing is a snow cowl
 
Ahh yes, get you now, I think I wanted a NAS or V8 snorkel inlet into the top of the wing. I think some of the Snatch Landys had them. Got confused as usual.

Recently I've bought:

Scramble net
2 x paddling pools
20 x marquee tent pegs
20 x houla hoops
2 x sponge footballs
1 x kayak.

Can you guess i run a scout group?!
 
Lol. Nice one. I've just bought more spare light bulbs than halfords stock :)

I have loads of random stuff in my watching list, no wonder my defender is still waiting for some love on the drive !!!!
