Any good at fixing broken Landy Stuff ? If so can I add you to my list of people just too far away to help when the inevitable thingys break and fall off.
Why the fook would yu fink that someone on a landrover forum would be driving a landy??? That's a pretty wild assumption to be making about me???Read hand
I've just put 54ltr & 16ltrs of doozil. and done 470 miles in a single trip. been using 50/50 when it was colder no probs at all.
Thats 30 mph. what was you in, a landrover of some kind?
94 200TDiOut of interest what make of discovery do you drive??
94 200TDi
Am I right in thinking that as long as you mix it with diesel the 300tdi can run on veg oil without being adapted in any way?
a bit dodge running just the oil or mixing if you get it wrong
yes
the ratio of veg oil to derv can vary vehicle to vehicle and also on the temp.
Be prepared to change the fuel filter within the first 500-1000 miles too.
So only managed to get 48 bottles but it's still 90 odd quid saved :clap2:
Now to use it, I have still got about a quarter of a tank of diesel left will it be ok to pour straight/neat into the tank and let it mix or does it need premixing say 70/30 oil/derv ?
