Tdv8 door mirrors

Hi all I have a problem with my door mirrors.
I caught the n/s today, it pushed inwards towards the door glass and fortunately no damage. However the mirrors are now operating opposite to each other when pressing the switch. One folds in the other folds out. Does anyone have any idea how to reset them please?

Probably diagnostics needed to do it. Either that or the teeth have jumped on the gears in which case it will be a take it to bits job.

Try a quick double press of the button.

Thanks...will try the double press first thing! They still operate perfectly other than their seating position.
