TD5 windscreen removel

Help how hard is it to take out the windscreen on TD5 it has fast cleer i dont need to keep it in one pease its going in to have to paint job on top windscreen panel (roof) bloke doing it on the side so i have to take windscreen

When mine was taken out the bloke used an amazing tool that was basically a huge cheese cutting wire that was pulled in at exact points.

If you defiantley want it out in one piece it may be worth paying for it to be done

cant see why you need to remove screen for painting ,normall you just remove trim or if rubber skillfull masking allows you to paint under edge

I agree...I wouldn't go to that hassle to paint the roof.

No longer have my TD5, but from memory the procedure is detailed in the Manual.

Need the windscreen out to paint due to the rust at top of screen

just want the job done wright stop the rust well as much as i can stop it
