Td5 Problem no Power HELP-HELP-HELP

Hi everyone need some help
Just got disco td5 back from garage went in due to engine revs went sky high and loads of smoke like i had never seen before from the back,
Just paid a bill of £620

*Recovery
*Diagnostic Code Read
*Number 1 Injector
*Re-Calibrate new injector
*Oil Filter & Fully Synthetic Engine Oil
*Labour

Picked up Disco bad at starting and low on power bad whining from back drivers side of Disco can also hear it with engine running, low on power upto 2000rph over 2000rph sounds ok and light blue smoke from exhaust, have been told turbo ok have, I have unplugged MAF after seeing it on here no change. Not a landy garage now they want to strip engine saying suspect valve and what ever else they find what do you think Helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppp PLEASE

P.S Please keep it simple only lift bonnet to check levels

symptoms sound like turbo failure not injector failure,whining is pump in tank

the pump in tank is making a lot of noise is this how it should be ?????????? thanks for the reply.

no it shows theres either a blockage in the screen in pump housing or air /gases in fuel system ,which could be down to poor injector fitting ie bottom copper washer

Thanks for getting back to me I deffo think I have problem with the pump in the tank due to me never hearing this before, as for the bottom washer for the injector no idea will have to ask the garage what they did and if propper parts have been used.

Update guys have cleaned red plug had oil in it no smoke at all now, fuel pump still very noisy and Landy still under power up 2000rph any ideas please

Still sounds like blocked fuel filter gauze and/or copper washers feeding exhaust gasses back through the fuel.

just cleaning the red plug is like a massage to a wood leg...you need to replace the injector harness too... and put a new quality fuel filter...if no joy the alternatives were pointed by jamesmartin and ratty

Get it to a decent garage who understand diesels - TD5's in particular.Ask them to do a compression test as a first action.I've got one waiting to be taken away at the moment.Has shown similar symptoms,compression is down on 3 of the 5 cylinders....
The easy way to compression test is with an oscilloscope measuring starter current via an inductive clamp on one of the battery leads.

I had to change my harness and clean the plug 4 times as oil kept coming out of the ECU but I didn't fancy opening it up to clean it. Make sure and take the white part out of the plug and I used a hair dryer to ensure the electrical cleaner was evaporated or it can get trapped and cause a problem as the seal is waterproofed.
