Good evening guys and Girls. My name is Carl and I wonder if someone could shed some light. Turning mostly right my steering wheel wobbles. Straight line fine,, nothing. Left very occasionally.
I have just had an MOT very thorough by Land Rover specialist...nothing.
Steering damper fine. Wheel bearings fine. Track rods fine. Steering drop link very tight. Wheels fully balanced.
Am I looking at a new pump or steering box or something else?
Any advice gratefully received...Thank you people.

Post in a more appropriate section than the "Introduce yourself" threads and you might get some help ...

I had something similar a while back. The steering would start to judder pretty badly for no apparent reason. Just like you I checked steering, drag link, tie rod and nothing. Then by sheer chance I was under the bonnet and my little lad was in the cab playing with the steering. I noticed that the axle was moving from side to side. Turns out it was the Panard rod bushings. They were worn out. I replaced them and that sorted it. Might be worth a look.
