td4 wont start any ideas

Hi looking for some help getting a freelander td4 running it just cranks over but wont fire it tries to fires with easy start but wont run. Fitted a low pressure pump at rear with genuine item and filter and have 3-3.5 bar of pressure on low side there is no fault codes on ecu and have done leak back test on injectors and theres nothing. If the fuel return pipe is removed from hp pump the fuel comes out it as fast as the feed line puts it in there is a valve or solenoid on hp pump i have removed it and the seals are fine but is there a way of testing the valve any help much appreciated.thanks
