I've been following a couple of other threads regarding tyres. My Sport is due a couple of tyres soon. I have been running Pirelli Scorpion Asimetrico 235/50 R18 since I bought the car 9 years ago.
No complaints but they aren't cheap here in Spain. I notice that Nodge mentioned he is running 235/55 R18 Coopers but I seem to recall that they are 18" Sport wheels on an SE.
Would those tyres fit a standard suspended Sport?
The rear tyres on mine are decent but the spare hasn't been changed for years. If I could get a new set of four for a reasonable price, stick one of the decent rears on the spare, then I'm only 'wasting' one decent tyre, which could go in to stock, just in case.
I have always put the new tyres on the rear and always fitted the same make/size tyres over the last 9 years but if I can find some good/not expensive tyres, I would look to change all four this time.
Any thoughts?
Cheers.
