TD4 Fuel filter

Just doing an oil and filters service and i notice that the fuel filter in not in the engine compartment. So it must be on the osr wheelarch. Do i need to remove the wheel arch liner to find it?

Yes and it is easier to remove the pump and filter assembly as the filter is a pig to get in and out of its holder. There is a post on here on how to do it.

Hi did mine last year SWINE OF A JOB it took me over 1 hr to remove the tray that holds the pump with the filter due to a seized nut ! plus the tray was full of mud . got there in the end just take your time
