Here's one for you, I have troble starting my 2002 Td4. In the morning it starts with no trouble at all, and drives like a dream as usual, the trouble starts when I stop. The starter motor will turn and turn but it won't start, it will take at least two - three goes to get it going but each go takes at least 6-10 seconds before anything will spark, I also lost power a few times during the day but strangley the next day everything is fine. it turned out to be a failed injector causing the problems. (injector no.2 causing excessive leak off pressure. pressure has to be equal across all 4 injectors before it'll start)

There was a fault code stored for it, although the engine management light didn't come on.
