Exactly. That's why I did it this way

Yep, that is true. I swapped the oil filter housing plus hoses from the TD onto the TDI. At the radiator end, there are screw-in adaptors that go into the radiator - again, I swapped over the adaptors from the TD radiator to the TDI one.

Be aware that this isn't necessarily true. If you have an aftermarket or replacement from original Radiator/oil cooler fitted that came with the threading as part of the rad, no adaptors fitted. I've had this with the 2 Disco conversions I have done.


One day I will look up the parts needed to use the old TD pipes and what the thread into the Disco oil cooler is.
