Tailgate Trim

Hi,
Could someone tell me the best way to remove the tailgate trim.
Do I have to remove the black plastic trim that the tailgate window slides down through? I know there are two small bolts either side, so do I undo these and what else do I have to undo?
Is it then a matter of prising the trim off?
Any advice welcome

Are you trying to remove the rear door seal?

undo the 2 small 8 size bolts (1 on each side)
remove the black rubber trim the glass slides trough
undo 3 bolts on the bottom
pull tailgate trim out (pull from the bottom)

Hi sijwhite,
Not yet, I want to try the cable tie method first to see if that cures the leak, if not then I will need to remove the tailgate seal.
