Make sure you keep the joints greased, I didn't and it seized up. Mine didn't fir the door properly, but I think it was the aftermarket door at fault rather than the carrier.

Yup, I put one on mine - make sure you get the tub brackets and door mount lined up accurately or it becomes a heavy beast to shut (I speak from experience!)

Taking mine off and going back to a TD5 version, the spare on the swing away sticks out too far for my liking.

Ive got one on the back of my 90, mate had it first for a year or two, I bought it off him when he sold his 90 and its been on there for at least 3 years now, has a large 8.25 michelin xzl hanging off it, not the best engineered bit if kit but works well, no rust so far.
I greased the sliding tube when fitting, but I would say thats just common sense!

I've got one and it copes fine with a 33x12.5x15 hanging off it.
I just fitted and forgot about mine, but really I should try and adjust it a bit to take a the little bit of play out

Fitted a Britpart one a few weeks ago, it seems fine but it's a bit early to comment on long term rust resisting.
Quite honestly helped a freind fit a Mantec one in January and I don't see a huge difference.
Certainly must help door life sound compleatly different when I shut the door now.

Just looked the one I have is the one in the link good price.

Thats good for one that opens with the door - I guess I will have to replace my rusty cappings before I fit one though :(

I thought I'd spend out and get a mantec one. It's now about a month old and the basterd thing rattles about like hell. Have now tightened the hinge bolts right up that much its a struggle just to open the back door. They don't like 37"s hanging off them..
