i have a suzuki v.6 vitara and would like help with buying extras for it

don't spend too much on extras, hold a little back for the timing chains and
new sills...........about £1000 in my case.

I made my sills out of plate and then replaced the plastic coverings (after
plenty of underseal). Total cost about a tenner :)

have you had your chains go yet, mine went at 60,000 and just outside 3 year
warranty..........Suzuki didn't want to know...........so £750 cost

I've sold it now and onto my 5th Suzuki and must say best one yet, the Grand
Vitara Diesel.

Ouch.
Is it a common problem?
Don't think I would have bought another Suzuki if I were in your position.

Apparently common anywhere between 50k and 60k on the first batch of V6 (N
reg'ish). I bought one of the first into the UK.

While I know it was costly, it did not put me off. I still like the Vitara
range especially with the Peugeot Diesel fitted.
