Suspension bouncy

hi can anyone help,its a p38 i have i just keep the suspension locked on the motorway setting, when its on the straight line it would bounce you out the seats,just fitted new shox all round and previously poly bushed, any help would be grateful, also changeing the injection pump next week do you have to use the tool that holds the chain or is there another way of doing this

You may be riding on the bump stops. I had simialr probs when I burst an air spring. If you have air springs and they are ok, check the ride height, see if its better on a higher setting.
 
no its not on the bump stops all airsprings are good recently had a new pair fitted on the back because the old ones were getting a bit perished,the higher i put the suspension it keeps bouncing :confused::confused:

are you sure the shockers are long enough ,if they are at full stretch/not long enough this would cause the symtoms you describe,as the air spring would be fighting against the topped out shocker i have seen this mistake made :)
