Having experienced first hand the deluge of water that soaked us after driving my new (to me) discovery 2 that leaked in through the sunroof(s) I set to... determined to fix it.
I cleaned all the outer frames where they meet the bodywork, there was evidence of some old silicone. I removed that and degreased it all round. Then I ran a nice neat thin bead of stixall crystal clear extreme power adhesive/sealant all around the edges of both frames, smoothed it down neatly.
I then opened the roof(s) cleaned off all around the rubber seals and smeared them with vaseline.
Two weeks in and plenty of torrential weather, I'm pleased to report it's 100% watertight
Luckily the headlining is unmarked...
Hopefully that will be the end of it
