Sunday 1st April 2012 laning in Leicestershire

For those few that are not getting muddy in Salisbury.

A gentle trip around the lanes of Leicestershire.

Starting at the Waitrose car park in Lutterworth at 9am.

All welcome including standard vehicles, nooobs and dare I say it g g g g freelanders.

No! I am not having g g g g g g freelanders on our trip FK, I wish you had consulted me before inviting any old reprobates!

actually yes it was downhill, really deep ruts and deep mud, beached it was my driving not the car! it had done so well throughout out the day on worse stuff

looks like fun, i nearly put my name down on the list last night but couldnt persuade the mrs to come and didnt want to come on my own, never been proper laning before. only had my 90 a few weeks.

you really should have mate, was a great day, this is the first time my missis has been, i norm go on my own, have you got a CB radio?

also have you seen the warwickshire thread? theres a load of us meeting at a pub in tycross if you fancy a pint?

i have an old midland cb that i used to have in my room as a kid but not fitted it in the landy yet.

yeah ive seen that thread, i live 10 minutes from twycross so i am tempted as it would be a good way of finding the lanes round the area, i only know of the watery lane ford near sheepy, used to swim in there as a kid lol.

Just seen this thread, shame I missed it! Have now had my Defender for just over a week, living in Narborough and have never been green laning before. Would love to come along next time if possible!
