Stuck tailgate

Hi guys, first post here so go easy on me!

I have a 2009 FL2 HSE, and the tailgate is stuck closed !

I know this is a recurring thing on these models, but the usual tricks I use just haven't worked this time .

I've tried switch replacement (3 months ago), disconnecting the handle switch multiplug, disconnecting the latch multiplug, replacing the fuse, pushing /pulling the door while pressing the fob button, but it's completely jammed! I can't believe there's so override - I've noticed a lot of saloon cars have "kidnap handles", it would be simple to put a non electronic cable into the mechanism

Try getting someone to operate the switch to open it from outside while yer int boot pushing it open

Thanks for the reply. We tried this, but alas no luck.
Managed to get it fixed last night though. I removed the interior panel, and unbolted the lock mehanism (using a Torx bit). I tried to gently open the lock, and when this failed, I destroyed the casing so I could reach the inner mechanism. I could reach inside and turn a white cog to force the lock to open.
The replacement lock mechanism arrived yesterday - 5 mins later it was working perfectly.
