No you dint, you just thought you did. At the same time you were pulling the earth, i was pulling EVERYTHING else - that's what moved, the earth (that you were pulling) stayed right where it was! All things are relative (speshly in BoB country)

well thats a weight of my mind.....been a bit worried......lucky I didn't engage 4wd

When I joined this forum I never thought I would encounter so many bigoted owners surely all members aren't like this. Christ, just because after almost 50 years of owning various marks of L/Rs I've gone for a bit of luxury and bought a F/L2. I KNOW it doesn't have the off-road capability of a Defender (I've had several) but after giving up game keeping I don't need a vehicle to climb a mountain! (We now use a quad bike). So can we all just accept there are people out there who do support Land Rover (they've bought new vehicles and parts). So may I wish you all a Merry Christmas whatever you drive.

Look, it's just like when with your mates / down the pub / with your kids....get a bite and you reel 'em in! Don't take it to heart boys!

Welcome 768will :D

We do like abit of banter and tbh some certain members on here ( especially in this thread ) don't know when abit of banter gets , shall we say, tiresome.

I'll take the p!ss out of anyone who drives anything other than a 90 or series, the disco lot enjoy too much comfort and splashing through puddles, Rangies are for those with the cash and freelanders....i'll keep you guessing, but i can happily take what i give :D

Ignore those who litter every other post with their thoughts to the point of becoming annoying and join in where you can elsewhere on the forum. Someone with a lot of experience as yourself will find some good people on here and tbh the main posters from the gaylander section who venture in here ( Hippo, RichM, Freebiker ) all take the abuse with a pinch of salt and are good sports :D

Cheers

I feel bad about my light ribbing maybe being misconstrued as being nasty. I saw this video of how capable in snow the freelander model is though [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwEVK3A9KBw&"]YouTube - Land Rover Stuck On Snow Mound | What A Fool[/nomedia]

my freelander got grounded in the snow last year. BUT the defender couldn't even make it as far as i had got in order to pull me free. got rescued by a shogun.

The freelander two though [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11BWyxgAqZc&feature=related"]YouTube - Freelander 2 in the snow[/nomedia] colour me impressed
