It's funny how you lot don't like people mentioning other off roaders that are betterer than yours.

If yer gonna pick Freelanders or their owners, at least make something up thats original. The spice of life and all that. Tis getting boring with the usual crap.

take a chill pill FFS. We don't think RR owners have a butler to everything for em but we still take the **** out of em for having one.. It's called banter & stops us thinking about the next welding job we're gonna need to do on ours..

Those gaylander2's don't look half bad i must admit, was following one today ( we have no snow down here fyi ) and it looks like the bastard child of an RR n Disco.

Still love to take the **** outta em though :D :D :D

most freelander drivers round here is wimin, so that explains the bitcheness.as for russian 4x4s yes id prefer to be seen in a lada niva than a freelander

Wow.............so much for a badge on the front!

ground clearance?????????????? look at the snow it never came over the wheels you may have had problems in the snow because you noticed it but l certainly did not
and going down hill in the ice in the freelander wins by miles with the individual wheel breaking system that you dont have.
Respect to you for owning a landrover as well

Is that why gaylanders is so unreliable?

on my second new Freelander (Nissan Patrols before 23mpg )and never had a breakdown, you guys need to look to the future as the engine in mine is the test bed for the new Range Rover the old V8 are just about able to go round the block without something falling off so l guess they must have sorted it with this engine !

Wasn’t thinking of a lada nivia, but if that’s your first choice. Mate won one some years ago. Just before they announced pulling out of the uk due to emissions. His was the 1.7 gm engine.

I was thinking more of these. Next you’ll be telling me it’s not fair to compare then to a land rover.

Banter is one thing. The constant drone about how bad Freelanders are is getting tiresome. Can you at least cut back a little. Tis the season of good will. That includes good will to Freelanders and their owners. Whilst Freelanders have problems, so do all other land rover products. The cost loads to keep them running, parts for repairs as well as wear and tear, and the rust worn gets them in the end.

so is the first one a production vehicle then? if so i want one :p and the second one happens to be a truck which really couldnt be used on a day to day basis like a land rover can.

yes its banter but if you didnt bite so much they may let up on gaylanders. All land rovers have problems and one of the great things about them is how easy most are to fix compared with other vehicles and that parts are well priced too.

so thats the season of goodwill bit out of the way can we go back to saying gaylanders are ****e now :D

No you dint, you just thought you did. At the same time you were pulling the earth, i was pulling EVERYTHING else - that's what moved, the earth (that you were pulling) stayed right where it was! All things are relative (speshly in BoB country)
