It's also a bit less robust than a defender but you might have a couple of people taking you up on thatI'd take mine up there it's worth less than the defenders!

Very good, my disco has been patiently sat waiting for me to sort a couple of jobs out on it since before ChristmasI still have the passenger side box section sill and boot floor side panel an wheel tub to weld in and work out exactly how I'm fixing my new boot floor down.
Couple of decent uninterrupted days should do it.

I was talking with Rich earlier and I'm afraid Tom we pretty much agreed that we wouldn't run the repair bill gauntlet of owning a D3Tell you what, if I break it, they've bought it

You missed a smasher Lee, great weather, some excellent long and little used lanes and the chance to meet a knowledgeable and respected forum member.oh no! im gutted!
fantastic photos!
Next time i will tag along!
Plenty of lanes in Wales trickier the strata especially if the water level is low.....Several D3’s and at least one D4 in the group I did strata in last year along with a lifted Navara. My D1 did the job just fine except for getting cross axled once, fair chance that was my own fault though! Taking my D2 (without a centre diff lock) soon, hoping the traction control is up to the job. Only mods are a snorkel and 245/75’s otherwise as it left the factory. We apparently have a Jimny coming with us too!
Did 4 days laning in North Wales the other week, was great.
Although Bastid lane has a really nasty drop off at the end.
Cheers
