Disco 2 Strange air suspension fault

Hi all I have a weird fault with the rear air suspension on my discovery. I have read the definitive guide on this forum but it haven’t come to a solid conclusion after reading it.

So I parked the discovery up Saturday afternoon and everything was fine no issues at all.
Started it today and all the pre check lights went out as normal so started and drove, still no warning lights, I drove down our bumpy farm track and thought the ride seems very harsh this morning. Got to the end of the track and decided to have a look and the suspension was on the bump stops. The compressor wasn’t kicking in at all so I tried turning the engine on and off to kick the compressor to life, tried the air suspension button and that just stays flashing constantly with the one beep to say it’s pumping up but still no faults are being logged. I can’t hear the compressor working at all, I removed the relay for suspension and that logs faults on the dash. No fuses blown, checked the compressor and everything looks fine.

I tried jacking the back up on the tow bar to try and get it working but the compressor doesn’t appear to be working.

I’ve looked to see why the suspension went down to start with and it looks like one of the connectors on the valve block has stripped and is loosely on the thread enough to keep it pumped up and looking normal when used on a daily basis but leaving it for a couples of days see the suspension sag.

Will a bad compressor cause the warning lights to stay lit on the dash?
Is there a reset procedure I’ve tried leaving battery disconnected for 15 minutes as well which didn’t help.

The compressor would not trigger the warning but if it went to exceeded duty cycle default due to a leak which made it overwork it will not start untill the fault code is cleared with adequate tester... to verify the system untill you get to diagnose it improvise a wiring as in the attachment to feed the compressor and valves at the same time untill it's up to the level, let the connectors unplugged and if there's no leak it will stay on level for weeks

I will give that a try.
The only other thing that may give a clue to the issue is since I bought the car in feb last year and the relay for the air suspension under the bonnet has clicked constantly for 20 or so minutes when the discovery is switched off or it starts when it’s unlocked.

I wouldn’t have thought this is normal but could this be an underlying issue also?

It's deffinitely not normal.... might be en ECU missbehaviour then

I plugged it into the diagnostics machine at work (not Land Rover dedicated) and brought no fault codes up and nothing odd. Still got nothing at the compressor, haven’t been able to test the electrics as I’m working until Thursday so might remove it and test it on the bench. No fuses or anything blown the only thing I can think of that might’ve upset it’s was when I parked up on Saturday I lowered the suspension from it extended ride mode and before it settled I turned the discovery off whilst the compressor was still doing something.

Well I will wrap this up I managed to sort it. In case anyone stumbles across this with a similar problem it was the relay for the air suspension. This brought up no fault codes whatsoever but when removed both air suspension lights would come on. I switched it for the windscreen washer relay and the suspension pumped up when the discovery was started and went to off road mode when the button was pressed.
