My Defender was stolen last night from the Best Western hotel on Maypole Lane Birmingham. It is dark blue with full external roll cage, warrior winch, galvanized chassis, rock sliders and 4 rectangular helier spotlights above windscreen and is on Isle of Man plates (if still on). If anyone has seen it can they please contact me on 07779548467. I am offering a reward for accurate information. It has been my pride and joy since my 17th birthday, holds many great memories and has had much time and money spent on it. Can someone please help.

I have no idea how they took it. I'm guessing on a truck, it's the only way I can imagine no one questioning them taking him in such a busy car park. Our illustrious police force haven't got round to checking the CCTV yet despite my persisting. I've got appeals out on numerous land rover chat forums and other social networks. It took me 7 years to get him to that spec and has been on many a journey with me. I'm gutted. Just want him home.

Sorry to hear this mate.
REMEMBER YOU CAN REQUEST/DEMAND YOUR OWN COPY OF THE CCTV from the operator and they can't refuse if you are on it, but they are allowed to charge a small admin fee if they are being arsey. May be a good idea before it gets "misplaced"

Hope you get it back, just changed the chassis on mine and no amount of money would replace the time and effort put in.
Probably a recovery truck as wouldn't arise suspicion in a public area, request a copy of that CCTV footage soon as

So Sorry to hear that mine was stolen last Monday and still nothing, am searching Gumtree, classifieds, eBAy and have started searching on the webpages of Europe just in case someone proudly photographs their new landy! I have shared it on FB hope you get it back.
