Pretty sure this one will have been done before but how do you get the steering wheel off a 96 110. Steve at Simmonds is making me a new one and I need to let him know how many splines it has for the boss. If anyone hasnt seen Steves' stuff before have a look www.simmonds.uk.com he makes a quick release model which is fantastic.

Its just held on by a nut in the centre of the steering wheel. Just pull off the oval LR badge. It will most probably have 48 spindles, my 1996 110 has. You may find it doesnt want to budge, just tap it off with a hammer or similar. Leave the nut on a couple of threads so the wheel doesnt suddenly fly off and hit you in the face.
