Steering pulls to the left

Hi all iv done a search but really came across much So I'll ask here and await a slating

On the misses 98 L series it's constantly pulling to the left,

Iv checked tyre pressure,
Checked to see if the calliper is binding
Changed diff mounts
Changed both anti roll bar bushes and drop links,
Had the wheel alignment / tracking checked and adjusted

But it still pulls to the left is there any thing els to check

Sorry if this is a common question but I'm stumped now, thanks for any help

Have you got the same Tyres on both wheels?

Have you kerbed it hard anytime?

Any leakage from the front struts?

You may need to go down the ball joints etc route.

Hi yes
new tyres all round, only had the car 2 weeks so cant comment on kerbing but no obvious signs on the wheels or tyres, had the wheel alignment done this morning and had them give it a look over and they could not see anything obvious, and front struts look good?

I would have thought it might be a track rod end ,but that would surely have been picked up when your tracking was adjusted .

i would get the tape measure out and measure distance from front to rear wheels on each side. If its had a hard knock then it might have bent an arm. may need somone to help you. check bottom arm bushes.
Did you get it 4 wheel aligned or just 2? Your back end is just as important to track as your front and its adjustable.

Maybe you got the apprentice when you got your tracking done? kwik fit do a free tracking check. might be worth it getting checked again just make sure but make sure they dont get you to spend any money you dont want to. These sort of places are famous for upselling and it has been known for people to go in with not much air in the tyre from poor maintenance and for the person to leave with 4 new tyres and a tracking check.

get your tape measure out and check dimensions, as said previously it could be something out of line due to damage.

Have a good read of that link.I think it says a likely culpret might be a wishbone bush .

Are you sure you had the rears checked and not just gadgets put on the rear wheels to allow set-up of the front wheels by comparing to the rears? That’s what most garages did to mine. Couldn’t sort the pulling to left out so I got a trackace and did it myself. Using parallel lines down each side of the car, and measuring. Trackace to help check the measurement when wheels were cantered. Rears were well out but the tyre shops couldn’t measure them, and said they didn’t know of the rear adjustments. They probably did, but couldn’t do it as they often don’t have the kit to adjust all 4 wheels. There’s a thrust angle to set-up correctly on the rear wheels.

Right lads just had the tape measure out and the pass side is 10mm shorter then the drivers side,

So just my luck could it be as simple as a bent wish bone or a worn bush, or should I take it to a specialist to be checked over, there no obvious parts out of line and no obvious major play in bushes or do they hide it well ????

just noticed you have a britpart lift kit .

try this one have you had new suspension legs on the front if so undo the nut on the top have your steering facing strait forward then re tightenthe nut

Okay, So I spent a fortune getting a set of five tyres added, and now the thing pulls to the left a lot. Also the steering wheel is not straight. I presume the badly worn tyres that were previously on there were masking the alignment issue I have. Now the tyre shop can only do toe-in/out on the front wheels. But this feels more like a caster issue. I check the manuals and there is no way to adjust it! Seriously? Tomorrow I will get out my trusty camber/caster gauge bob weight and see what readings I get. I guess I will start to take the rust of the rear wheel adjusters ready for a 4-wheel alignment ...
