Yu brushing that primer, or spraying?
Yu brushing that primer, or spraying?
Looking good.
Doing the rear cross member, I used a couple of acro props through the rear windows to prop mine up.
Wound up the props to take the load, took some datum measurements, and chopped out x member.
cross brace the rear door too.
Try a hire shop for some old unwanted acro props
+1 for trip to hire shop, ask if they've any damaged scaff tower sections too as these have adjustable castors, lop the wheels off an you're golden
Good idea for holidays, as the rumour was confirmed this morning I am going to see if i can take a few days off when i touch down on the new site, it's depressing not getting out to drive it [/QUOTE
I'm battered from 2 days on it and about to start another lol. I'm going to try and get that section behind the outrigger done I think. I really want to get the rear quarters done soon too as there's condensation on the inside of the roof every morn which really isn't helping. My steering wheel has also turned into a broccoli farm. Disgusting. It was mangled anyway to be fair
Best get your motors done.
That young German in the Hilux is over again wanting some more off roading.
Looks like I will be route finding for us.
Think it's in may bank holiday as lanes just open
My target is June currently. If I'm not bad by the end of this month I'll do a big order. I still have a sh1t load to do.
Let me check my stores, i think i have either a new or at least good condition steering boss for a 300Tdi, aftermarket steering wheel of the 15" variety are cheap enough and much nicerMy steering wheel has also turned into a broccoli farm. Disgusting. It was mangled anyway to be fair
Very cool, I have adjusted my schedule and am patching my rear body cross member now, sodd it, it can wait until next year, whats the worst that can happen? It rots away a bit more lolzBest get your motors done.
