I've been eyeing up a set of drill taps, drill bit and tap all in one.

Going back a bit to an earlier post, I've used these to great effect in soft alloy - but not yet had the courage to try on steel: after all, the speed at which you tap is different to the speed that you'd drill a hole with... Best to have separate drills and taps - but for the right jobs, these are actually pretty good :)

Will put the holes in at some point but centre punched so I know where they live

@resto_d1 hope your making notes... I'm starting the bulkhead change next week. Re wire and new doors. May even fit a heated screen.

How's the YRM parts?[/QUOTE
Tonnes of pictures, a fineline sharpie and electrical tape. Gave all dash wiring codes too.

It needs new doors. They're mashed. What kind of money are they? She's only bought the vent surrounds atm and they were an eBay buy not yrm. They look fairly good though. The door seal bits on the bulkhead are shot. The a pillar/t channel. Just been looking at yrm and think they sell the bit I need. Floors look ok but the footwells will require yrm panels too. Front of chassis looks pretty good. Needs new turrets though. It's a substantial job. Engine is pretty good. Leaking rocker cover gasket etc but sounds well and been serviced well. I'm sure she said she had a compressor set up. I would really like to sandblast everything. Looks like it will go back to same raf blue too
