Starting problems when hot!

Hi all I have a 94 V8 EFI Disco1. I have owned her for 3 years. Last August I had her converted to LPG and she has ran perfect up untill a month ago. Her symptoms are, somtimes she won't start when warm/hot. This has gradualy got worse. The other symptom is high and iratic tickover on both gas and petrole also when tickover is high. If you switch off she will not start for at least 30 mins. Also when hot I am unable to rev engine she dies away as pedal is pushed.
I have replaced, coil, leads, distibutor, distributor cap, rotor arm and plugs. Non have made any diferance. She did backfire a few times but that was down to leads and dis/cap which were coroded.
The gentlman who installed the LPG system (Northeast autogas conversions. He is a great guy if anyone is interested) has checked both gas and petrole and said he is baffled. Other forums say imobiliser spider but that seams to be for two button remotes and mine has one.

First off yer in the wrong section cos this is the one for when you have problems logging on. I'll move the thread over to the disco section just this once.

When the garage have checked your vehicle over where was the fault lying? Was it with the ignition or fuel system?

The spider issues tend to be with vehicles from between 1996-1998
 
So after new coil, leads, plugs, distributor have been fited. To no avail and lots of people looking at her. The problem was the water tempreture sensor. £8.96 plus postage. After I spent a fortune chasing sparks lol! So anyone out there with a V8 EFI and you are having problemswith hot staring. Please please!!!!! check the Water Temp Sensor first. It may save you a fortune chasing your problem.
Thanks to all who gave me advice. I feel I know a lot more about my car now! And she is running like a dreem (touch wood) on both petol and gas. The gas system is single point. I had it fitted over a year ago and I have never looked back. It has made theV8 afordable to run and I love running her! The gas was fitted by Dave at Northeast Autogas Conversions. The price I paid was good value plus the underslung torpedos still give you 7 seats. Best thing I have done since I put thrush side exausts on my 1976 V6 Granada lol!!!

Discool your the man! Thanks for the part No it realy helped find what I needed. I did not belive it at first but the water temp sensor was the problem. Wish I had came on here earlier. I know better for next time. Thanks again man!
