SRS light staying on??

I have just inherited a problem of the SRS airbag light staying on (on the temp gauge), I was wondering if this is a problem that would affect driving the vehicle?
I have also noticed a loose 4 wire connector (black,green,2xwhite) near the heater drivers side and was wondering if this could have anything to do with it? any help much appreciated

I would check the connection under the seat in case its worked lose

As said check all connections BUT the light can only be switched off with either LandRover Testbook or a Hawkeye as its a safety feature and the fault must be cleared and checked before it will allow the light to go off. I do not believe any other diagnostic computer will do it - I had the same and my local guy who can do most said only the above - in the end a good guy on here came to the rescue with a Hawkeye - 2 mins fault cleared and light out.
