SRS light on, but no faults found

Had steerimg box replaced on a 02 disco, by a mate who a mechanic, but when i went to collect the SRS light was on the dash.

Had a mate who has a nanacom read the faults, but no faults were found, bu the light is on.

anyone have any ideas

Disconnect the battery for 10 Mins and see what happens

also noticed that the buttons for the horn dont work

I guess the steering wheel was off... sounds to me like its not reconnected somewhere.

then it's a short within the rotary coupler IMO(as long as the fuse, horn relay and horns themselves are good), unfortunately not uncommon at all...and that's expensive

I replaced the Rotary Coupler with a 2nd hand one off the well known auction site for £15 and it worked a treat
