I cured mine with a new bearing off evil-bay for the tensioner but it would still do it every now and again when it was realy damp!
This post has nuthin to do with the squealin belt... I just wanna say I like the name Jason
Also, just to be on the safe side (and also because I learnt this yesterday and want to seem like I know what I;'m talking about )
Take the tension of the auxiliary belt and take the belt from around the alternator. Now spin the alternator wheel, should be smooth and silent, if not then you got a problem.
Like I did
Mine was making some HORRIBLE noises.
All fixed now though and pick it up tomorrow.. So life is good again
I was up your way yesterday Stretchie. I had to drop a car off over by Wickwar.
