That's a new one to me! Why the need to disconnect everyone you put the battery charger on?Did you remove one battery or at least one of the battery leads before charging?

The output of some old battery chargers may damage modern electronics, always safer to disconnect the battery unless a smart charger is being used. That's a new one to me! Why the need to disconnect everyone you put the battery charger on?
Right, thanks boys, giving them both a wiggle and stuffing in the biggest and most powerful one I can find
Just so the battery gets all the charge needed and nothing is lost into the cars live systems. That's a new one to me! Why the need to disconnect everyone you put the battery charger on?
Cold weather always finds failing batteries.Well I used my newer charger; oddly enough, I borrowed my mother's Volvo on Saturday and its battery went completely flat, having not been used for a while, and it threw up an ABS fault! Have now charged that too!
I thought it had, but didn't have time to check properly before the MOT; started him up this morning for the short trip to the garage, and hurrah, no SRS fault or lights! But they came on during the test, so the friendly garage cleared the messages and fault lights, and apparently carried out a 'temporary repair' to the wiring under the seat - I'll find out exactly what when I see them when I can pay them / they open after the holiday.Did charging the battery on the P38 fix the issues?
Yes, chill and damp...but then, the last time I had to replace the battery in a P38, it was a Serbian winter - now that's proper coldCold weather always finds failing batteries.
Serbia will be better with a bit of global warmingYes, chill and damp...but then, the last time I had to replace the battery in a P38, it was a Serbian winter - now that's proper cold
Ha! Yes, lovely, no more -30 winters, just add a few degrees to the +30 summers, eh!Siberia will be better with a bit of global warming
Only -30? Got down to -50 when I was in Canada Here in France I have seen as low as -17 in winter and this year we had +42 for a short spell in summer, so Serbia doesn't sound too bad.Ha! Yes, lovely, no more -30 winters, just add a few degrees to the +30 summers, eh!
Glad I'm back here!
I should have gone to spec savers LOLSiberia, Serbia...ah, what's a few thousand miles
There are 2 dash bulbs for SRS. If one blows the other lights up.
All SRS wiring has yellow tape. Do not touch without battery disconnected for at least 10 minutes. There are connectors behind the dash, and the driver's kick panel, I think. Maybe under the Range Rover plate hiding the trunking by the door? Then there's the ring thing on the steering wheel.
