You'll need etch primer first or the paint won't take.

use plasticote super gloss although i did mine in satin and looked far better, no need to prep, spray straight on, mine still looked perfect 2 years on when i sold the 90

Cheers all, I've done Google searches but they all seemed to be American, and used American products which I don't think I'd be able to get hold of.
Dulux stores do paint but it aint cheap.
