Re the number plates, I got an extra one of mine off eBay for my horse trailer. No questions asked.

Anyhoo....when posting pics of my landy on here I blank off the plates, I'd expect the same if someone else posted a pic of it. Just manners really, if nothing else. Which reminds me years ago I had a letter from an insurance company once stating they were claiming against me on behalf of their claimant when I was involved in an car accident in London. Except I hadn't even been in London!!!. Some bugger quoted my number plate! Luckily I could prove it wasn't me. Never did get to find out where the info came from.

I understand your distress, as you have just said it has happend to you, even tho you are carefull. It just shows that it doesn't take much . But the good thing is that honest people can account for the where abouts , with all the cameras and witnesses ect . That's why I don't let any think like that bother me . I to was once charged for conjestion in London ,like you it was hassle but in the end I proved different .thats why I won't let it make me feel restricted .like cloning would you buy a car with a v5 and an mot, no history books or other paper work .i wouldn't it's up to us as the public to safe gaurd our selfs from acts of dishonesty and carry on enjoying life .thats my view im harsh but what the hell I'm not going to be put down by others who go around thinking it could happen if it does we just have to deal with it.

You obviously don't realise how sophisticated car criminals are, I bought a cloned vehicle it had a V5 all paperwork vin plate and chassis no"s correct and i had full HPI check and it was from a dealer advertising on Autotrader, I could not have done more to check it out.
So as i said back on page 1 of this thread you posting pics of other peoples land rovers is probably not the best idea you have ever had, and as I said previously your talking bollox.
 
have you not thought that before long , you are going to take a picture and post it on here, and someones really going to get ****ed off, and could come around and smash your windows in .....:D
